Horton Donates $2 Million To Support New Baseball Complex in Oconee County, SC

On November 13, 2025 Horton, Inc. made a major investment in the future of Oconee County with a $2 million contribution to fund a new, state-of-the-art baseball complex in Westminster, South Carolina. City leaders, county officials, and Horton representatives gathered on site for a ceremonial groundbreaking to celebrate the project and its foreseeable impact to the community.

The new facility, designed to serve youth leagues, school teams, tournaments, and community events, marks one of the largest recreational investments in the area’s history. Featuring multiple baseball and softball fields, modern lighting, dugouts, seating, scoreboards, and donor-branded field enhancements, the complex will provide a premier destination for local families and visitors alike.

The project is progressing well, and we’re eager for the first pitch!”

Construction is currently underway, with fields, fencing, and infrastructure taking shape. The complex is expected to host its first games upon completion in 2025, welcoming athletes, coaches, spectators, and community members from across the region.
