Horton’s Britton, South Dakota plant is woven into the fabric of the local community and the entire northeast corner of the state.

The town of about 1,200 is easy to miss when scouring a South Dakota map or driving through the area. But nestled amid the prairies, lakes and highways, there’s a simple, hardworking lifestyle embodied by both Britton and Horton, one of the most popular employment choices in the region.

A new video series from the engine cooling system manufacturer tells the story of this unique relationship, through the eyes of four Horton employees. One moved to Britton to pursue a career in manufacturing. The other ended up there after 25 years of military service. One started there and now works as a service manager in the Twin Cities. And another was born, raised and plans to retire in this nook of the Mount Rushmore state.

Watch the entire series below, and subscribe to Horton’s YouTube channel for more videos.
