Watch: Horton CEO on dealing with pandemic

August 31, 2020

Horton President and CEO Cordell Dietz says the company is pressing on and taking the long view as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.

"We think in terms of decades," Dietz said during a recent live stream discussing Horton's mining capabilities. "We're on our third generation [of ownership] at this company. Of course, we've cut back on things that we don't need to spend today, so we've tightened our belts like everybody has.

"But we haven not stopped a single project or a single activity that we would consider strategic. And what we would label strategic are things that our customers are going to need five years from now, 10 years from now. We're continuing on all of those."
