Remanufactured fan clutches

The fastest and easiest way to repair your engine cooling system's clutch, without the cost or hassle of rebuilding it yourself.

Why consider a reman?

Remanufactured fan clutches provide the following benefits:

  • Total cost of repair is often lower when using a reman, as opposed to a repair kit
  • Kits add complexity; remans eliminate the hassle by providing a simple, drop-in replacement
  • Remans for a wide range of makes and models are stocked and readily available in Horton's network of warehouses throughout North America, easing the burden of inventory management
  • Remanufacturing is good for the environment, saving up to 85 percent of energy, water and material use compared to production of new products

HOW WE DO IT

Horton's remanufacturing process includes qualifying old cores, reproducing them to OEM spec and making them available for distribution.

Go behind the scenes at Horton's remanufacturing facility

Here, old fan clutch cores are qualified, disassembled and rebuilt using new OE-approved components. They then undergo vigorous testing and quality checks to create a simple, cost-effective and environmentally-friendly option for truck engine cooling repairs.

Turn in core. Get credit.

Horton's simplified core return policy gives customers full credit on the purchase of a reman. Just turn in the clutch being replaced in off-truck condition, and be sure all required components come with it.
