Opportunities to learn about engine cooling tech abound at upcoming trade shows

September 23, 2019

Horton's engine cooling team is set to span the globe -- and multiple industries -- over the course of a month this fall.

Representatives from the global airflow pioneer will be on hand at Expotransporte, Busworld Europe, the VIPAR Heavy Duty Annual Business Conference, the North American Commercial Vehicle Show and Agritechnica between Oct. 16 and Nov. 16. The company will display new product and discuss the latest innovations in engine cooling, including viscous technology and its benefits.

That includes Horton's new LCX series of fan drives, which will be shown at NACV from Oct. 28-31 in Atlanta. NACV is one of the largest on-highway gatherings in North America, with a focus on fleets and their ability to use new technologies, discover best practices and gain insights from industry leaders.

The LCX170 and LCX230 feature Horton's most recent viscous breakthroughs: low-speed controllability, a lower off-speed and Cold-Start Disengagement. The LCX170 is engineered for medium-duty trucks, while the LCX230 is specifically designed for heavy-duty applications.

Both drives are compatible with a wide variety of off-highway applications, as well.

Expotransporte 2019 is Oct. 16-18 in Puebla, Mexico. This show at the Puebla Exhibitor Center features some of the world's largest on-highway vehicle manufacturers and their suppliers.

The day Expotransporte concludes, Busworld Europe begins in Brussels. The oldest and most famous coach bus exhibition in the world, BusWworld started in 1971 and takes place every two years in Belgium.

Horton will exhibit its many off-highway capabilities in Hannover, Germany on Nov. 10-16 at Agritechnica. Regarded as the world's leading trade fair for agricultural technology, Agritechnica emphasizes innovation and its impact on the future of farming and engineering and manufacturing.

Horton's booth will feature the LCX series and the company's latest molded fan and ring fan options. All can be customized for agricultural applications' specific airflow and emissions requirements.

And as a proud partner of VIPAR Heavy Duty, Horton will join other suppliers and VIPAR members at the truck parts network's annual business conference Oct. 20-25 in San Antonio.
