Quieter Starts. Zero Fits.
Horton's newest variable-speed fan drives feature a proprietary technology called Cold-Start Disengagement™. This latest wave of airflow solutions helps meet emissions regulations, reduces fan noise, and allows heavy-duty engines to operate at peak performance -- no matter the conditions.
What is cold-start disengagement?
Cold-Start Disengagement can help trucks and tractors warm up quicker during cold weather. Horton's viscous drives with CSD hold oil in the reservoir while the engine is off, so the fan disengages up to 80 percent faster than standard viscous drives.
