How Horton is dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic

July 24, 2020

As the global community takes further action to suppress the COVID-19 pandemic, Horton continues to serve the manufacturing industry while exercising special care to prevent spread of the novel coronavirus.

The Roseville, Minnesota-based engine cooling company is continuing operations at this time. Horton’s leadership continues to monitor this fluid situation and follow all guidelines issued by the U.S. Center for Disease Control, the World Health Organization and other relevant authorities.

Horton is an essential part of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Critical Manufacturing Sector. During these challenging times, our country expects Horton to continue production during current social distancing and shelter-in-place regulations at the federal and state levels.

Horton also retains constant communication with its suppliers and other channel partners to ensure on-time delivery and robust levels of inventory throughout its network of North American warehouses.

Safety remains Horton’s No. 1 priority, followed by meeting its customers’ engine cooling needs. For this reason:

  • All employees are being asked to adhere to all social distancing and safety and health guidelines from the CDC and WHO, as well as national and local government regulations.
  • Employees are asked to stay home when they are sick, practice frequent handwashing, and avoid large gatherings and travel.
  • Horton is taking extra steps to sanitize workstations and frequently-touched surfaces for the safety of both our employees and our customers.

Please be assured of our dedication to our loyal customers throughout this ever-evolving set of circumstances, as well as our thoughts and prayers for those impacted by COVID-19.

Any further changes will be communicated via the Horton website and social media.
