Air Chamber Seals |

11.
Remove the air chamber cap retaining ring.
12. Gently and evenly pry the air chamber cap out of the sheave
using two small screwdrivers placed 180° apart.
13. Remove the O-ring seal from the air chamber cap.
14. Remove the face seal.
15. Inspect the face seal for signs of wear. Wear indicates
that dirt may exist in the air system.

eye safety protection when removing retaining ring to avoid serious
injury.
CAUTION
If
dirt or oil exists in the air system, the air system must be cleaned
and dried before the fan drive is reinstalled.

you are only installing a Seal Kit, proceed
to 8.2, step 20.
