Part Number Search - If you know the Horton part number of the product you are
looking for, you can enter it in the “Part Number Search” box. For fan
drives, the part number will be linked to application, dimension, repair kit
and cross reference information. Select from the options in the
table on the left portion of your screen. For direct drives, links
to the dimensions and repair kits are located to the right of the
application information. Non-Horton numbers are also searchable.
The results will bring you to the associated Horton part number. If
you need additional information, use the Horton number in the search box.

Vehicle Application Search - This search
tool allows you to narrow your search
down if you do not have a part number. This search tools is available
for fan drives, direct drives and solenoid valves. Select from each of the drop
down menus and then click the "Search" button. Depending on
the product you are searching for, you will be given the information you
requested, if available, and links to related information such as
dimensions and repair options. The example below shows the Cummins
dimensional page with a drop-down menu to find other engine models.

Drop Down Menus

Fan Drives, Direct Drives and Accessories
The fan drive and direct drive menus function
the same way. You can search by dimensions or applications. For
dimensional information, select the vehicle manufacturer from the drop down
menu. Dimensions results will display a drawing and the dimensions of
the manufacturer you selected. In the top right-hand corner, you can
elect to change the engine model. Results are displayed 20 at a time
so you may need to select "Next 20" to view all of your results.
If you are searching by application, chose the
vehicle manufacturer from the drop down menu. Applications will be
displayed along with links to dimensional information and repair kits.
In this section you can also view fan drive
accessories such as sub brackets, tensioner assemblies, assembly, idler
pulleys and others.

Reman Core
Identification
The Reman Core Identification page helps you determine if a
Horton fan drive is in the Core Exchange Program. For
more information about the program, go to the catalog home page and select
the "Core Exchange Standards" from the "Reman Core Identification"
drop down menu. If you are searching for an MSC-3 reman core
exchange information, select "MSC-3 Core Exchange Program" from the "Reman
Core Identification" drop down menu.
The Reman Core Identification page will display the following information
once you have selected the vehicle manufacturer.
Your next step should be to select the type of engine you have from the drop
down menu on the right. To view all of the remans in the categories
you selected, make sure you select "Next 5". The remanufactured fan
drive number is the blue number in the top left-hand corner. The
OEM # and Service # column represents fan drives that are in the reman Core
Exchange Program. On the drawing, the top number is inches and the
bottom number is millimeters.

Plastic standard fans can be searched by the
number of blades and rotation or by diameter. For a list of
accessories or information about how to select a fan blade, select from the
drop down menu along the top right-hand corner of the page. This menu
can also be accessed from the drop down menu on the home page of the
catalog. All Horton WindMaster® Fans are designed to exceed OEM
specifications; actual results may vary.

The first option in the drop down menus is
"Roller Bushing Catalog." This link will bring you to a page with an
outline of the catalog. Click on your area of interest and you will be
brought to that portion of the roller bushing catalog. The file that
opens will be a PDF which open with Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do
not have Adobe Acrobat Ready, please to
www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html for a free download.
The second option in the
dropdown menu is a link to Horton's Klondike Series fan drive and repair kit
information. Klondike Series products are Kysor-style fan clutches and
kits. This link will also display information in a PDF document.
There are a number of fan drive controls that
can be viewed in this area of the catalog. The first is Solenoid
Valve. Select Solenoid Valves from the drop down menu. Next,
select the Vehicle from the menu in the right-hand corner as shown below.
Other controls include Thermal Switches, Dual
Function Switches, A/C Pressure Switches and Restrictor Valves. In the
Miscellaneous Controls you will find a drop down menu to help you narrow
your search. If you are unsure how to select a control, read the
"Selecting Proper Controls" page located in the Pneumatic Fan Drive Controls
drop down menu.

When choosing a repair kit, you must first select the product that you wish
to repair. The page will then display a link to the Special Parts List
and all the repairs kits associated with the product line you selected.
As you scroll down the page, you will also see the Standard Parts list and a
column that indicates which type of repair kit you will find the individual
components. The Special Parts List will list the repair kits by
the specific fan drive service number. Remember that you can also use
a remanufactured fan drive if a kit is not sufficient. You also have
the option of upgrading some of the repair kits to a PolarExtreme®
repair kit. The PolarExtreme repair kits include advanced components
necessary to deliver optimal performance in extreme conditions.
